What you will be doing...
- Working with key stakeholders to understand the complex, high volume, end to end Treasury processes and associated accounting treatment and reporting requirements.
- Provide weekly insight and analysis on our Treasury activity to drive focused activity to ensure all transactions are being investigated and resolved.
- Monitoring of service level agreements including KPI reporting to monitor service delivery against these agreements.
- Streamline KPI reporting ensuring key data is provided to the correct stakeholders
- Improve month end analysis and reporting, determining the best approach for presenting accounts as a whole
- Co-ordinate communication of various cash variances from multiple income streams
- Work with the operational stakeholders who manage the day to day running of the ledgers to ensure all data flows are accurate and provide recommendations where issues occur or for process improvements.
- Support improvements in the business IT and finance systems - particularly in relation to efficiency and ease of use for operators and specifically eradicating manual processes and eliminating the risk of material error.
- Ensure that weekly and monthly reporting is provided to the business in an accurate manner to the deadlines set.
- Periodic ad-hoc reporting for management teams and other internal customers.
- On occasion you may be asked to perform additional duties or duties unrelated to your role after appropriate training has been given.
- Encourage a culture of high performance, professionalism and respect, including commitment to a high level of quality control and timeliness of delivery.
- Take an active part in driving improvements in the overall finance product and the culture of the Finance team.
- Ensure quality, compliance and health & safety standards across Finance.
- You have a duty to safeguard your own health and safety and that of your colleagues, customers and visitors. You also have a duty to co-operate with management to enable it to comply with its health and safety duties.
Some of the skills and experience we're looking for...
- Part-Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or qualified by experience
- Highly numerate and analytical with excellent attention to detail
- Experience of high volume transactional process management
- Advanced Excel and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to high quality and excellent customer service
- Experience in process improvements - timeliness, accuracy and efficiency
- Strong planning, time management and organisational skills
- Flexible and the ability to work in pressurised situations and deliver a quality product to agreed timescales
