- This is a 37 hour a week position, Monday to Friday
- 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays

What will I be doing?
We're working to improve the lives of people in Somerset - and you'll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve:
- Carrying out general maintenance work, waste disposal and general clearing of properties.
- Collecting and distributing all necessary materials and equipment.
- Providing support to other trades, including heavy lifting.
- Assisting with removal services with evictions and deceased estates.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you:
- Have a good general standard of education (minimum to GCSE standard or equivalent, including English and Mathematics).
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence (with no more than 3 penalty points) and will drive a vehicle supplied by the Council to undertake the duties of the role.
- Can take accountability for quality and quantity of work.
- Have knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety legislation and requirements.
