As an Assistant Accountant you'll play a key role in supporting the finance/management accounting functions for our food retail operations.

What to expect..
- Assist with weekly and period end tasks, interim and final audits and annual preparation of year end statutory accounts.
- Provide information and analysis to stakeholders when required.
- Lead on operating expenses, stock reconciliation, stock & delivery charges.
- Quarterly preparation of Management accounts for review.
- Support the budgeting and forecast processes and training / presentations to internal stakeholders.
- Create reports and collation of weekly sales figures.
- Balance Sheet reconciliations and any ad hoc tasks that may be required.
What we're looking for..
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- CIMA Studier.
- Experience of working within a finance department - proven ability of management accounts, accruals, prepayments & analysis.
- High attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Proficient in the use of Excel supported by generally high levels of IT literacy.
- Experience using finance & BI systems - knowledge of Agresso, Cognos, and TM1 systems desirable.
