The role involves managing the operational business of the team and a group of social workers responsible for safeguarding and promoting the best interests of children. This includes ensuring services are delivered according to government policies, legislation, and departmental procedures. You will provide leadership to frontline staff and support service senior managers by advising on strategy and policy. Additionally, you will manage budgets and ensure resource optimization to meet performance targets.
