Who You Are

You are an experienced children's social worker with over 3 years post-qualified experience, comfortable with roles in Permanence Teams, Children in Care, and Children Looked After. You possess excellent engagement and direct work skills with both children and young people. You must have completed your ASYE and have a methodical, organized approach to care and placement planning, minimizing risks and ensuring long-term improved outcomes. You must be a car driver with access to a vehicle.

What the Job Involves

This role involves ensuring stable placements tailored to individual needs, working with a dedicated and high-quality senior leadership team in Liverpool Children's Services. You will partake in a supportive and collaborative environment with a motivated team aimed at improving outcomes for children and families in Liverpool. You will receive continual support with reflective supervision, alongside access to a diverse range of support services including Family Group Conference Service, family support workers, and an extensive Early Help Offer. You will have a minimum 3-month contract, earn up to £42 per hour (based on experience), and work a 35-hour week on a hybrid model (3 days per week in Liverpool). You will be provided with an ICT Kit and relevant support, working within a well-connected city accessible by rail and road.
