Who You Are

You are a fully qualified, accredited social work professional with significant post-qualifying experience within fields related to children, adults, and families. You possess a deep understanding of statutory functions of Social Care and Health Services and have proven experience managing complex cases involving vulnerable individuals. You have demonstrated the ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary settings and hold a current registration with HCPC. You also hold an AMHP qualification, important for handling mental health cases.

What the Job Involves

As an EDT Social Worker/AMHP, you will serve as a single point of contact for social care services during out of hours shifts, including weekends and bank holidays. You will assess and prioritize incoming work related to children, adults, and mental health, maintain high standards in decision-making, and manage complex cases efficiently. You will also participate in multi-agency operational management, provide professional advice and guidance, and maintain high-quality case records. This role involves both remote and on-site work across North Yorkshire and York.
