Who You Are
As a Finance Business Partner for Adult Social Care, you are an integral team member working alongside the Service Directorate management. You will support the Head of Finance in ASC by providing comprehensive financial guidance and direction. Your role will be key in translating complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders and ensuring that the future service needs align with the Council's financial forecasts.
What the job involves
Your responsibilities include offering financial support and guidance to one or more of the Council's Directorates, aiding in budget management, and ensuring sound financial practices. You will work closely with senior management to develop strategic financial plans and provide high-quality financial advice to Corporate Directors, Heads of Service, and budget managers. Your role also involves managing and coordinating the finance team's day-to-day activities to support the Directorates effectively.
