What the Job Involves

As the Head of Revenues and Benefits, you will be responsible for leading and managing the provision of strategic Revenues and Benefits services within the Council. Your main duties include leading teams, developing strategy and policy, supporting ERP system implementation, managing budgets, engaging with corporate teams to enhance council operations, maximizing government subsidies, contributing to performance boards, improving customer experience, and providing advice to Councillors. You will also undertake other duties as required, ensuring a consistently high level of performance and customer satisfaction.
