You excel in building rapport and forming respectful, honest, and supportive relationships with victims and survivors of domestic abuse. Your strong community engagement skills highlight your dedication to promoting safety and well-being.

What the Job Involves

This role involves covering a maternity leave position as an Intervention Officer, essentially functioning as an IDVA working with individuals aged 16 and older in the Local Authority who experience domestic violence. This position operates across adult and children's services without being a part of either social care. You will be part of a team offering duty advice and information to self-referrals and professionals. Tasks include conducting home or community visits, occasionally alongside other professionals, focusing on building a safe environment for those you assist.
