What the Job Involves

As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will work as part of a mechanical engineering team to manage and oversee the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective services. Your responsibilities include organising and leading mechanical works to meet the needs of various client groups across corporate and leisure properties. You will ensure that projects are completed efficiently and in compliance with client requirements, legislation, and performance targets. Your role encompasses providing maintenance, repair, adaptation, improvement, or replacement of mechanical systems, ensuring they align with good practice and statutory requirements.

Skills

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
• Experience in UK construction or building services
• Management experience with mechanical engineers/contracts
• Knowledge of gas boiler systems, large ventilation plants
• Familiarity with air source heat pumps, legionella control
• Understanding of lifts, refrigeration, and air conditioning
• Strong organisational and management skills
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills
