What the Job Involves

As a Social Care Worker, you will provide safe and person-centred quality care that meets the needs of adults 'at risk' based on their support plan and risk assessments. Your responsibilities include supporting personal care, monitoring progress of service users, accurately administering medication, contributing to daily activities planning, ensuring safe transport and safe use of equipment, and maintaining accurate records. You'll need to communicate professionally with service users, families, and colleagues, follow health and safety protocols, and support service users with their personal finances. An essential part of your role is managing challenging behaviours and ensuring all processes comply with the standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
