CaretakerSt Marks CE Primary SchoolStaplefield Village Do you think you could take care of our school? Hours: 10 hours a week.Salary: West Sussex Grade 4. 24,790-25,183 pro rata depending on experience. Applications are invited from enthusiastic, caring, well-motivated persons for the post of Caretaker for 10 hours per week. The hours could be done flexibly either 2 hours per day or organised to suit the right persons schedule. Most work could be done in school hours but there are a few jobs (like testing the fire alarm) that needs to be done outside of school hours. The successful applicant will possess a range of maintenance, D.I.Y., caretaking and gardening skills, together with the ability to work alongside cleaning staff. As Caretaker, you will ensure that the school environment is maintained to a satisfactory standard and your aim will be to deliver a quality service in a school where high standards are set and expected. Personal qualities will include: versatility, tact, commitment, honesty and initiative. A drivers licence and use of a car would be highly desirable.
