Working pattern: Term time plus inset days (39 weeks)Actual starting salary (calculated pro rata): 24,660 per annumSalaries are paid in 12 equal monthly instalments The Burgess Hill Academy is looking to recruit a Pastoral Leader to join the friendly and dedicated pastoral team. The pastoral team provide support to students to overcome any barriers to their learning. As a Pastoral Leader you will: Be the role model for other staff in the management of behaviour and provide advice over matters concerning behaviour, attendance, and pupil well-being.You will provide support for the behaviour and attendance management of students consistent with the Academys policies; assist students in managing their own behaviour and attendance.Provide support to the year group with child protection and safeguardingSupervise detentions for persistently late students or students with behaviour issuesIf you would truly like to make a difference to the lives and life chances of our pupils, this may be the role for you.
