Working Pattern: Term time only, plus inset days (39 weeks)Hours: 35 hours per week, 8.30am to 4pm, Monday FridayActual Starting Salary (calculated pro rata): 20,850 per annumSalaries are paid in 12 equal monthly instalments Do you have the ability to provide medical assistance to our students? We are seeking a Pastoral Medical Assistant to join our friendly and enthusiastic team. We are also willing to consider applications from candidates who would be interested in this role as a job share. The Pastoral Medical Assistant will provide effective support to students with minor medical needs, administer first aid as necessary and provide administrative support as part of the wider pastoral team, whose work relates to the needs of students, attendance and behaviour management. Following training in the role, the successful candidate will also be expected to have knowledge of first aid procedures and the administration of medication to students, in line with the associated policies of the University of Brighton Academies Trust. We are looking for someone with experience of working within a school, with young people or within a medical environment.
