The post involves: Being responsible to the Headteacher for the general safety, maintenance and upkeep of the school premises and grounds, and for providing a safe, secure, clean, and warm environment for all children, staff and visitorsProviding a high quality caretaking serviceOpening the building and maintaining premises securityCleaning the school siteElements of gardening and grounds maintenanceEnsuring all relevant health and safety legislations are met The successful candidate will:Be enthusiastic, caring and well-motivatedDemonstrate versatility, tact, commitment and the ability to use initiativeBe committed to working to help improve the premises for our childrenBe able to work as part of a teamBe flexible to the needs of the school and the childrenBe able to maintain strict confidentialityPossess a variety of DIY and caretaking skillsMake a positive contribution to our school community and work as part of a team You will be provided with excellent support from the Business Manager and Senior Leadership Team.
