We are seeking a School Cleaner who will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the school, including classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas, are kept clean, tidy, and hygienic. You will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming and safe environment for both students and staff. We welcome potential applicants to visit the school. Key responsibilities * Clean and maintain designated areas, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and staff rooms. * Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors. * Dust, wipe down surfaces, and sanitize high-touch areas. * Empty waste bins and dispose of trash responsibly. * Replenish supplies, such as soap and toilet paper, when necessary. * Ensure all cleaning materials are used safely and stored properly. * Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the facilities manager.* Follow school health and safety guidelines and ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met. Key requirements Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a school or similar setting.A strong attention to detail and a pride in your work.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.A positive and professional attitude.Excellent time management and organizational skills.A flexible approach to work and a willingness to adapt to changing needs.A DBS check will be required prior to employment.
