JOB INTRODUCTION
Join the team as a Master Data Specialist to help shape the future of master data management at William Grant & Sons. Our team is on a mission to improve data quality and governance, making a real and sustainable difference that underpins our digital ambitions. You will be working with a wide variety of systems, giving you exposure to all areas of our unique and global brand. Your analytical mindset and proactive nature will give us valuable insights into data health and shape a governance framework.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITY
Supporting the Master Data Lead to drive up master data maturity levels across the organisation.
Through the delivery of workshops, you will populate and manage a comprehensive glossary of master data.
Use your critical thinking skills to define and design data quality tests, working with our Data Management Team to roll out engaging data quality dashboards. Working closely with subject matter experts you will collate observations on master data governance and agree corrective actions which will drive improvement in process and data quality.
You will play a pivotal role in promoting data governance across the organisation by building relationships with other teams and staying close to key digital initiatives. Flex your influencing skills to share best practice across business units, driving consistency and efficiencies.
JOB OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
With a background in data analysis and governance you will have a genuine enthusiasm for data and improving standards. You can acquire information readily and enjoy problem-solving to navigate complex processes independently.
You have the ability to review and understand the impact of data quality and communicate findings with a diverse group of stakeholders. Experience of data management in a manufacturing environment would be a plus and demonstrating a genuine interest in immersing yourself in the business to give useful insights.
