Salary: £12.26 per hour
Hours of work: 16.25 hours per week initially (20 hours per week from September)7.45am - 8.45am - Breakfast Club 3pm - 5.15pm Monday to Friday (initially) 3pm - 6.00pm from September - After School Club (Term time only)

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic After School and Breakfast Club Assistant to join our committed team at King's Gate Primary School. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, creating a fun and engaging environment and ensuring the well-being of pupils outside of school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage children in a range of activities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
- Assist with serving breakfast and after-school snacks.
- Support children in their play, homework and social interactions.
- Follow safeguarding procedures to ensure the welfare of all children.
- Help set up and tidy the club space before and after sessions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality wraparound care.
Person Specification:
- Passionate about working with children and creating a nurturing environment.
- Reliable, friendly, and able to work as part of a team.
- Experience in childcare or education is desirable but not essential.
- First Aid and Safeguarding training (or willingness to undertake training).
- A positive attitude and the ability to use initiative.
