We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join our Finance Team as a Business Analyst, supporting the council in delivering high-quality public services for the residents of Wiltshire.

As a Business Analyst, you will support the Principal Accountants and Head of Finance to provide an efficient and effective finance service working within a team that meets customer and corporate needs. Extracting, analysing and evaluating financial data to build accurate and detailed financial modelling to support senior management in making evidence-based change implementation recommendations. You will also be responsible for the maintenance and development of the council's financial plans and its records ensuring that all decisions are taken in the light of available funds and within the council's financial procedures and policies and government policies and regulation.

We are looking for a candidate who is CCAB qualified or part qualified CCAB with AAT or equivalent qualifications and relevant post qualification experience. You will have proven experience of project management work and financial analysis, with expert knowledge of financial modelling and techniques. The ideal candidate will excel in managing workload priorities under pressure to meet deadlines, possess excellent ICT skills, and be able to accurately and efficiently assess new information to best advise staff across the organisation.
