Hours of work: Part Time (27 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 39 weeks per year including Teacher Training days)

Clarendon Academy is a thriving co-educational, non-denominational secondary school and sixth form, educating young people between the ages of 11 and 18. All about the role:
We are looking for a skilled DT technician to provide support for teaching and learning in our Design Technology classrooms. This is a wonderful opportunity to join our dedicated team of technicians and be involved in preparing resources and equipment for lessons: hard materials: woods, metals and plastics, as well as maintaining machinery and ordering supplies. Previous experience of working in an educational environment is advantageous because you will need to be able to support students and staff in the workshops. A knowledge of basic engineering and/or mechanics would be highly advantageous, however full training will be given.
The successful candidate must be able to work with a variety of staff and students, possess a can-do and flexible attitude and be well-organised with a good practical aptitude. This is a varied and busy role, which involves producing accurate work to tight deadlines, so applicants must possess excellent time management skills.
