Salary: £24,404 - £25,183 pro-rata (£12.65 - £13.05 per hour)
Hours of work: 32.5hours per week or 21.25 hours per week, term time only

We are seeking to appoint two dedicated, caring and committed professionals to join our enthusiastic and supportive staff team to 'Inspire, nurture and challenge every learner to achieve their full potential' as a Learning Support Assistant for a pupil with medical needs who will be joining our Reception cohort in September 2025.
We are ideally looking for someone with experience as a Learning Support Assistant and with experience of supporting a child/ren with medical needs if possible. Full training will be given before and during working with the child and we are confident this will be an incredibly rewarding role full of smiles and joy!
The hours for this role are either Monday - Friday 8:45am - 3:15pm OR Monday - Friday 8:45am - 1:00pm. You will be working alongside and under the direction of our exceptional Reception teacher and will be supporting the child with her medical and physical needs alongside as well as with her social, emotional and academic development.

You will be required to:
- Work with an individual or with small groups of children under the direction of the class teacher
- Complete all training in order to meet an individual pupil's medical needs
- Support an individual pupil with her medical and physical needs
- Support the class teacher, implementing planned learning activities/programmes as agreed in advance
- Show initiative and flexibility
- Build effective relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Undertake interventions with children in Reading, Writing and Mathematics
