Job Description
For people leaving hospital, adjusting to life at home can be a difficult time. Helping someone get their essential shopping, pick up their prescription or get the heating turned on can make all the difference for them to feel safe at home. **We need you to** - **live within 45 minutes travel time of the hospital** (Please check you meet this requirement and only apply if you do meet it) - Volunteer for minimum of 3 hours a week Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm - Driving is preferable but not essential. If you drive, you must have held a driving licence for at least 2 years which allows you to drive in the UK and have access to your own vehicle. - Are available to undertake approximately 11 hours of required e-learning modules and Zoom training sessions in the first few months of volunteering plus other plus further developmental service specific trainings as required. **Due to the nature of this role, applicants must undergo an Enhanced with Adults barred Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.** Diversity Diversity is something we celebrate.
