Health and Care Volunteer (West Middlesex University Hospital)

For people leaving hospital, adjusting to life at home can be a difficult time. Helping someone get their essential shopping, pick up their prescription or get the heating turned on can make all the difference for them to feel safe at home. The service operates Monday -Friday 09:00- 17:00, Saturday and Sunday 10:00- 18:00. We are looking for someone who is able to - Commit to a minimum of 2 hours per week on a rota basis. - Be able to volunteer for at least 12 months. - Driving is preferable but not essential. If you are driving for this role you should have held a driving licence for at least 2 years which allows you to drive in the UK and have access to a vehicle. - Good conversational skills both verbal and written is essential. - Are available to undertake the required e-learning modules and Zoom training sessions within the first few months of volunteering plus other specific training as required. **Diversity** Diversity is something we celebrate.
