Birmingham Women's & Children's Hospitals Volunteer

This role involves being a friendly face for patients and their families at both or either of the Birmingham hospitals listed below.

You will be trained to give general, simple and effective advice to patients and to make notes on our secure case recording system. This role will also involve tasks such as helping to handout promotional leaflets to patients and giving out bus travel codes to patients.

We are looking for individuals who can volunteer 2, 3 or even 4 days a week out of Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Please note that this is not a short-term volunteering role - we aim to train you up to be able to assist people with a wide range of enquiry areas and this can take several months.

Travel expenses are covered up to the cost of a day saver bus ticket (£4.80).
