Event Support Volunteer (Leeds Marathon & Leeds Half Marathon - 11 May 2025)

The biggest event in Yorkshire of its kind needs a great cheerpoint to give our runners some encouragement as they complete their chosen challenge. It'll be a day full of fun and northern hospitality as you don your green outfit and make some noise for Macmillan Cancer Support.

**What will you be doing?**

Cheerpoint

- Join a friendly group of volunteers to encourage our runners to the finish line.

- We will provide everything you need to make some noise and paint the path green (Macmillan tabards, cowbells, clappers, pom poms etc.)

- Can't do one of our shift times but would still like to volunteer, get in touch and we can help!

**Your impact**

- £80,000 raised in 2024 by 175 runners.

- This could support our Cancer Information Nurse Specialists to run our Macmillan Support Line phone service for 1 week.
