Job Description
Support our runners as they take on this amazing 50 - 100k Ultra Marathon on the UK's oldest trail that ends at the magical Avebury stone circle. The basecamp location is full of festival atmosphere complete with food and bars, the perfect place to volunteer in beautiful surroundings. Your role will be to help manage a pit stop and finish line for the 50K participants, read on to see what that involves.
**What will you be doing?**
Event Support
- Manage pit stop and finish line.
- Hand out refreshments
- Award medals to finishers.
- Cheer on participants as they pass through.
**Your impact**
- £48,000 raised in 2024.
- This could help pay for the development and a 12-month licence for a custom, scenario-based learning module for health care professionals to provide the best care for cancer patients. AI is used to create real conversations via scenarios, putting the learner in a safe environment to practice and receive immediate feedback.
