Communications and Marketing Assistant

Work directly with our CEO and Fundraising Manager on our communications, promotional messages, social media, fundraising and brand awareness

We are looking for someone who could give on average 12-15 hours a month, the majority of which can be undertaken remotely and in your own time. There will be support and planning meetings with the Fundraising Manager, ideally once a week.

This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to gain experience in working for a charity, to give back to local communities and help local residents.

The work will be varied and will focus on supporting our fundraising and raising awareness of our charity.

Main duties will be:

Creating copy and posts and videos for Resolve's social media channels, featuring our supporters, our calls to action and our impact.

Designing hard copy assets, flyers, posters, leaflets etc to promote fundraising and events.

Contributing to the future brand review.

Helping to layout publications such as the Annual Report.

We are looking for someone who has:Design and layout skills

Good IT skills

Proficient on social media platforms

Friendly and approachable with the confidence to advise on best practice.

Ability to work independently and also as part of a team.

Flexibility and ability to use time effectively

A commitment to the work of Resolve

Communications and Marketing experience; Digital and IT; Creative

Raise the awareness of Resolve and it's key work in supporting local residents

Support fundraising to raise income to fund vital services.
