Job Description
You will be responsible for designing structured lesson plans and educational materials to support English language learners, making sure they are suitable for different proficiency levels and aligned with evidence-based practices.
What will you be doing?
As an ESL Curriculum Developer at Stems of English, you will design lesson plans, worksheets, and instructional guides that support learners in developing their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. You will adjust content to different proficiency levels and learning styles, equipping learners with the knowledge to progress systematically from foundational to advanced learning skills. Your position will involve mapping out content across beginner, intermediate, and advances levels, aligning lessons with learning objectives, and incorporating scaffolding techniques to support learners at each stage.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of curriculum development and how to design structured lesson plans that support learners at different proficiency levels. They should be familiar with language acquisition principles and evidence-based teaching strategies.
Experience:
- Previous experience in ESL teaching, curriculum design, or instructional material development is preferred.
- Background in education, linguistics, or a related field is essential.
- Familiarity with CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) or similar language proficiency frameworks is an advantage.
