Events Coordinator

Teckels Animal Sanctuaries is seeking an Events Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of our annual event programme. This is a unique opportunity for you to use your event management skills to make a meaningful impact in animal welfare.

Responsibilities

Working with the support of Teckels' Fundraising and Development Manager, you'll take a leading role in strategic event planning and execution, encompassing:

• Developing new ideas for the events, to keep them fresh and fun for attendees
• Stallholder recruitment and management, including liaising with local businesses, managing stallholder booking forms, and arranging stallholder layouts
• Coordinating complex logistical arrangements, including setups and pull downs, liaising with service providers, and ensuring the correct permits are in place
• Managing volunteer teams on the day to ensure the event runs smoothly and is a success
• Co-ordinating raffles, sourcing prizes and selling tickets
• Post-event evaluation and strategic improvement planning

Skills and Attributes

We require our Event Co-ordinator to have a minimum 3 years' experience in event or project management, as well as;

• Exceptional organisational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
• A proactive approach to problem solving
• A genuine passion for animal welfare
