Job Description
Teckels Animal Sanctuaries is seeking an Events Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of our annual event programme. This is a unique opportunity for you to use your event management skills to make a meaningful impact in animal welfare.
What will you be doing?
Responsibilities
Working with the support of Teckels' Fundraising and Development Manager, you'll take a leading role in strategic event planning and execution, encompassing:
- Developing new ideas for the events, to keep them fresh and fun for attendees
- Stallholder recruitment and management, including liaising with local businesses, managing stallholder booking forms, and arranging stallholder layouts
- Coordinating complex logistical arrangements, including setups and pull downs, liaising with service providers, and ensuring the correct permits are in place
- Managing volunteer teams on the day to ensure the event runs smoothly and is a success
- Co-ordinating raffles, sourcing prizes and selling tickets
- Post-event evaluation and strategic improvement planning

What are we looking for?
Skills and Attributes
We require our Event Co-ordinator to have a minimum 3 years' experience in event or project management, as well as;
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
- A proactive approach to problem solving
- A genuine passion for animal welfare
