Job Description

A finance trustee is wanted as member of a charity's board of trustees who will be responsible for the charity's finances. You will ensure the charity's money is used wisely and in line with its mission

What will you be doing?

The finance trustee's role is to ensure the charity is financially stable and accountable to its donors, funders and stakeholders. They will also help the board make strategic decisions. Monitor finances: Review management accounts, financial reports, and budgets Advise the board: Provide advice on how to carry out financial responsibilities Ensure compliance: Ensure the charity complies with legal requirements and financial regulations Report to the board: Report to the board on the charity's financial health Assist with fundraising: Help secure funding to support the charity's work Oversee the annual audited accounts process: Ensure the annual audited accounts process is overseen

What are we looking for?

An experienced, detail conscious finance person who can use online banking in accounting packages.
