Hands on AI and Chatbot Expert who can help implement

Reach Volunteering

Job Description

EHCP.org.uk are looking for an experienced person who can help support us adopt AI into our new portal and our website. Help us change the face of Special Educational Needs and Disability in England for all young people.

What will you be doing?

We are about to launch our SEND Strength portal on ehcp.org.uk. It will help thousands of parents and carers easily apply for an Education, Health, and Care Needs Assessment for their child or young person. The existing process is daunting and complicated. We are going to make it accessible to all.

And we are going to police the process. In 2023 84,000 new EHCPs were issued. Only 50.3% on time. Which means that nearly 42,000 were UNLAWFULLY late. These delays to statutory timescales are only in the interest of Local Authorities. We are going to track each timescale and raise complaints all the way through to the LGSCO so that EVERY child or young person has their lawful rights monitored.

All a delay causes is a withholding of the legal right of appeal and the denial of support for the Special Educational Needs of a child or young person. Support that is often desperately required.

What are we looking for?

An experienced implementor of AI and chatbots in to websites.

What difference will you make?

You will be instrumental in making our website and portal run as easily as possible without the need for support staff. Our service needs to be easy to use and we hope that AI / chatbot can deliver a user friendly and personalised experience.
