Job Description
Join Stems of English as a narrator to bring our language learning content to life. Use your voice to improve the learning experience through recording audio content for our video lessons.
What will you be doing?
We are looking for a confident and articulate narrator to create spoken English content for our learners. This position involves recording high-quality audio and video of yourself speaking from a script, focusing on lip movements to aid pronunciation and articulation. Your videos will primarily capture the nose-to-neck area, helping learners to visually follow how sounds are formed.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have the ability to pronounce words clearly, helping students feel confident in their English-speaking abilities.
- Fluent English speaker with clear pronunciation and strong articulation.
- Experience with public speaking, voice acting, or teaching.
- Ability to follow scripts while keeping speech natural.
- Willingness to have a short portion of your face (nose-to-neck) filmed.
You must have access to good audio and video recording equipment. However, a high-quality phone camera with a microphone is sufficient. Recordings must also be done in a quiet environment so that the audio is as clear and crisp as possible.
What difference will you make?
By joining as a narrator, your contribution will have a significant impact on the learning journey of English students. Your recordings will help students improve their pronunciation and articulation, giving them a demonstration of how to correctly pronounce words and sounds. You will be a key figure in guiding learners through the nuances of English pronunciation, providing them with insights for their language development.
