Project Manager (Podcast Launch)

Reach Volunteering

Job Description

Help bring inspiring stories to life by managing the launch of our podcast. Join us as we empower communities through digital confidence & inclusive access to technology.

What will you be doing?

We're launching a 20-week podcast series, designed to inspire and support women and underrepresented people taking their first steps into technology. The podcast complements our flagship programme, Be Courageous with Technology, by creating a funnel of trust, storytelling, and engagement.

We are looking for a Volunteer Project Manager to manage the end-to-end delivery of the podcast.

What you'll be doing:

  • Coordinating the guest booking process using our pre-built 20-week content calendar
  • Managing timelines, communications, and progress tracking for each episode
  • Liaising with the host (Founder) to ensure recordings stay on schedule
  • Overseeing the publishing process - episode uploads, descriptions, and social media posts
  • Managing handovers to designers/editors if needed
  • Tracking engagement metrics and podcast performance over time

What are we looking for?

Skills & Experience

  • Project management experience (formal or informal)
  • Comfortable using digital tools like Microsoft Planner, Trello, Airtable, or similar
  • Strong organisational skills - able to manage timelines, coordinate tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Experience in or understanding of content creation (podcasts, blogs, or social media)
  • Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders (e.g. podcast host, guests, editors, designers)
  • Bonus: Experience with podcast platforms (Spotify for Podcasters, Riverside, Buzzsprout, etc.)

What difference will you make?

Your project management skills will bring the podcast to life - creating a platform where women from all walks of life can see themselves reflected in tech.

Through your help, we'll amplify stories that challenge stereotypes, spark curiosity, and open doors for women who didn't think tech was "for them."

This podcast is a key part of our mission at TechJumpstart Hub CIC: to empower women and underrepresented communities to thrive in digital spaces.

With your support, we'll create a safe, inspiring space to build confidence and community, and lead more people into our free tech programmes.

Before you apply

Once we receive your application, we'll shortlist and invite selected applicants to a friendly virtual chat with our founder to learn more about each other and the project.

We'll provide a full onboarding pack with timelines, tools, and templates to support you in the role. There's no additional application form -your message on ReachVolunteer is enough to get started.
