Dedicate 3-4 hours weekly to craft engaging posts aligned with SHH-UK's mission. Use your design and social media expertise to raise awareness, support healthcare workers with Long Covid, and drive meaningful change.

What will you be doing?

Supporting Healthcare Heroes UK (SHH-UK) is the only UK-wide charity dedicated to standing with healthcare workers. Since its founding in 2023, SHH-UK has been at the forefront of efforts to prevent Covid, support those living with Long Covid, and influence national policy to improve healthcare workers' lives.

We are seeking a volunteer Social Media Content Creator to help amplify our mission and reach. By dedicating just 3-4 hours a week, you will play a critical role in raising awareness and fostering engagement around Long Covid and the challenges faced by healthcare workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and publishing compelling social media content that aligns with SHH-UK's vision and governance policies.
  • Producing visually engaging posts, infographics, and other media using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Developing content tailored to each social media platform, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborating with SHH-UK's Trustee leads for social media to plan and execute content strategies.

  • Proven Experience: A track record of creating impactful social media content and understanding the nuances of different platforms.
  • Design Skills: Proficiency in graphic design tools to produce professional-quality visuals.
  • Strategic Mindset: Knowledge of social media best practices, trends, and audience engagement techniques.

  • Commitment: A passion for SHH-UK's mission and availability to meet the weekly time requirement.
