Social Media Manager

We're looking for an experienced social media professional to help us develop our charity's social media presence.

Raising Youth CIO is a charity supporting children, young people and their families in Medway and Swale to overcome challenges to achieve their full potential. We're looking for an experienced social media professional to help us develop and improve our social media presence to reach as many families as possible and promote the charity's work.

Working with our CEO and Director of Operations, you will:

• Design and deliver engaging content to be shared across our social media profiles,
• Develop a strategy to improve the charity's social media presence,
• Engage with posts to develop new and existing partnership opportunities,
• Work with colleagues to promote the charity's services,
• Respond to customer enquiries received through social media by either providing advice and support or referring to another colleague,
• Lead the day-to-day management of the charity's social media presence,
• Update leaders and trustees on the charity's presence and plan for furthering it's presence.

This is a new role within our charity, the post holder will have a high level of autonomy working within the instructions and targets set by the trustees.

You will be experienced in Marketing and/or Social Media. You will have clear professional experience in using social media for marketing.

You must be able to use your initiative and work independently, whilst being able to work well within a team. You will be able to develop and use creative solutions to overcome problems.

Your input will help us promote the vital work our volunteers do with children, young people and their families. You will also help us develop existing partners and identify new partnership opportunities to further the work we do.
