We're looking for an experienced Trustee to join our Management Team!

What will you be doing?

As an independent Charity, recruiting experienced Trustees is vital for us to continue our mission of Inspiring young people to achieve their potential through challenge and nautical adventure guided by the customs and traditions of today's Royal Navy.

We're looking for a Trustee with previous experience to join our Unit Management Team.

You'll work with our Unit Chair and the Unit Management Team to run our charity at a strategic and management level.

UMT Members, including the Trustees, are elected annually and may stand for re-election at each AGM.

We're looking for a Trustee with 3+ years' experience to help us in this exciting time for Bristol Adventure Sea Cadets, we're looking to grow our unit and expand our offer to even more young people locally!

As part of our Unit Management Team, you will support and shape our work and strategic direction towards growing our unit and presence within the community, helping us to achieve our vision of Every young person launched for life.

The Trustee's role is so important to us - not only do we need someone to keep us on track with our short-term goals, but we need someone who can help shape our charity for the future, where we plan to grow and impact even more young people.

We rely on subscriptions, grants and donations to continue the work we do with local young people so the experience and skills you bring to this role will leave a lasting impact for years to come!

  • Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete our application form
  • Successful candidates will be required to undertake a DBS check and complete some short training as part of your induction including in Safeguarding, Health & Safety and Data Protection
