Job Description
We are looking for a Volunteer Manager to join our volunteer management team at Plateful Café tomanage our volunteers effectively from a number of different teams
What will you be doing?
Plateful Café is an organisation that helps refugees get into the hospitality sector. We are a looking forsomeone who has previous experience of working with charities and is able to work in a team tomanage our volunteers, ensure they know what they are doing and making sure all the teams work ingood collaboration with each other. You would have plenty of flexibility to be creative and bring yourideas to the organisation for how we can best manage the volunteers.
What will you be doing?
- Responsible for appointing Team Leaders, ensuring volunteers are satisfied and well-taken care of.
- Setting tasks, assisting and monitoring the tasks and ensuring they are achieved in time, holding volunteers to account etc
- Dealing with Volunteer queries.
- Identifying and organising training for volunteers
- Managing volunteers time management with the planning and creating strategical goals for the charity and the volunteers
- Engaging with potential and current volunteers, developing strategies for volunteer retention in collaboration with the founder and other volunteer coordinators.
- Helping to develop a welcoming community
- Any other roles as assigned by Founder.

- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on relationship building.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with volunteer management software is a plus.
