Job Description
We would love to have an experienced volunteer help develop our website. This will help us provide clearer engagement with the community and allow more children and young people, with additional support needs, access the support needed.
What will you be doing?
Specifically, we would love a volunteer that is able to develop our own understanding of the tools available to us on our Wordpress (with Elementor) website. This means that we would love for the volunteer to help us develop our website with their own graphic design skills and knowledge, as well as helping answer our questions.
What are we looking for?
You should have experience developing websites.
As noted above, our website is on Wordpress with Elementor software, so experience with these is necessary, so that we are ableto continue using the website proficiently after your support. It would be helpful if you had experience communicating with novices, so that you can effectively explain tools to the team.
What difference will you make?
You will help us communicate with all our stakeholders, from service users to referees to funders. This means that you will have a wide reaching impact for all that come into contact with Families First St Andrews.
Before you apply
We will ask the volunteer to complete an application form, and short interview. If you are going to be in the office we will ask for you to complete induction training, so you are comfortable with the premises.
