Job Description

We support them to learn, grow and become who they want to be. Our shops help raise vital funds, and our volunteers are the leading force in making this possible.
Our volunteer Shop Recruiters our vital to the successful operations of our shops. They promote our volunteer opportunities in their local communities as well as online, supporting applicants though our recruitment process and giving everyone a warm welcome into the Save the Children family.
Much of this role can be done from a location that suits you. We have a snazzy computer system which makes managing applications and online adverts a doddle. If you feel confident booking your flights or buying something online, you should be fine. You will also arrange to meet successful applicants at the shop to run through a trial shift with them, which is also a lovely opportunity to get to know some of our other fantastic volunteers!
Full training and ongoing support will be provided but good organisational skills and local knowledge of the area will come in handy. You'll also need to be comfortable chatting to people on the phone. This is a really important role within the team with plenty of scope to bring your own creativity and imagination to it!
If you're over 18 years old, friendly and outgoing and feel comfortable using a computer, this could be the role for you. A couple of hours most weeks, and you could help make a significant difference to the smooth running of our shop, helping us to build a brighter future for children all over the world.
How you'll hear about your application
