This time Jo styled Teresa, a quality controller who is a grandmother (I know she looks far too young) and is 5 feet and has an Hourglass shaped body. The hourglass shape is defined as a woman whose body measurements, the circumference of the bust, waist, and hips, are wide shoulders, a narrow waist, and wide hips that is similar width to that of the shoulders. The bust is not necessarily large. If you look at the picture above Melissa on the right is a neat hourglass whilst Teresa in the middle is a full hourglass.
Teresa’s colour palette is Spring and she is very comfortable with this and loves to wear the vibrant colours in the Spring palette. Teresa was full of fun, a playful character so her colours only added to this spirited personality.
Spring PaletteHowever it was interesting to watch Jo style Teresa, always keeping in mind that Teresa is very conscious of her bust and not wanting to draw attention to it. Jo focused on layering which definitely made Teresa feel more comfortable. However by wearing a well-fitting top such as the Ponte Peplum top (see picture below) you can see how it flatters Teresa’s wonderful figure and that gave Teresa much more confidence. The necklace definitely draws one’s eyes upwards so this top is perfect for any Hourglass body shapes. I wish I had a waist like Teresa! Watch the video below to hear and see Jo and Teresa chatting about what works best for Teresa’s hourglass shaped body.
