This article was written for Annabel & Grace, which is now part of Rest Less.
As you may know, Annabel and I have been off for a few weeks due to us both having family issues but yesterday, at long last, we finally managed to get together. We’ve been friends for 45 years (OMG that’s almost half a century!) so it was lovely to be in each other’s company again for a big fashion try on and photoshoot. As many of you are finally getting away on holiday, we are delighted to share our latest summer holiday fashion finds with you…
It was absolutely buzzing at M&S Camberley – it’s a large store packed with wonderful products but even we were surprised at quite how many other women there were checking out the new Summer stock.
There is so much to look at and try on – and Annabel and I were no exception!
This is my absolute favourite outfit that Annabel chose (and which she snapped up immediately – well you know when something is right don’t you) plus this pure linen suit will keep her/you looking cool and amazing wherever you wear it.
- Linen blend ruched blazer £59
- Matching high waisted shorts £25 (matching bomber jacket, waistcoat and trousers also available)
- Ribbed V neck knitted vest with linen £17.50
- Straw duffle cross body bag £35
- Leather lace up trainers £45
- GRACE: Pure linen dogtooth v neck shift dress £125, Sienna straight leg jeans with stretch £22.50 and Leather Flat Ballet Pumps in Gunmetal £45
- Packable crochet bucket hat in orange (other colours available) £17.50, Ribbed Crew Neck Fitted Knitted Vest £15, Straw Sling Cross Body Bag £29.50
We loved this scrunched up sleeve jacket so much I wore it too. This time with a fabulously floaty midaxi pleated skirt £39.50 (made me feel so feminine) and a vibrant orange Ribbed Crew Neck Fitted Knitted Vest with notches at the hem £15. The Wide Fit Ankle Strap Block Heel Sandals (£25) were really comfortable (I don’t usually go for heels) and were an interesting colour combo of orange and tan.
And there were so many other vibrant colours to choose from. We loved the fact that you can so easily mix and match – here are some combinations Annabel came up with…
- Pure Cotton Denim Jacket in pink £39.50, Autograph Printed Round Neck Midi Shift Dress £59 and Buckle Ankle Strap Wedge Espadrilles £35
- Printed Tie Detail Plunge V-Neck Swimsuit £22.50, Straw Striped Tote Bag £45 and High Waisted Jeggings £17.50
- Pure Cotton Oversized Girlfriend Style Longline Shirt £25
Apart from vibrant pinks we found some wear-them-time-and-time again neutrals:
- Linen Blend Belted Cropped Jumpsuit in black £55 (looks much more expensive and fits like a dream). The Autograph Leather Bar Trim Flat Loafers were super comfortable, beautiful leather. £65. Classic Straw Wide Brim Hat £39.50 and Straw Duffle Cross Body Bag £35
- Per Una Pure Cotton Embroidered V-Neck Shift Dress £49.50 with fabulous embroidered neckline and green Leather Shoulder Bag £89
- Striped Knitted Vest With Linen £17.50 and Edge to Edge Relaxed Cardigan with Linen £25
