Grace and I are constantly on the hunt for new fashion brands that we and maybe you have not heard of. This week I have found a blouse designer called Victoria Jane McKenna. VJM is a luxury British silk brand specialising in exclusive capsule collections.
The BONNIE blouse is the most glamorous blouse in this Limited Collection made using a silk Georgette and with Chiffon sleeves. The detailing on the ruffle collar and hem make this really special. A relaxed fit with the hem sitting just below the belt line, this works perfectly with skirts and trousers. In this Wisteria colour it is both unusual and extremely wearable.
I tried it with black, white and navy and it always looked stylish. It is also a colour that works with most skin tones. I also love the neck line as it is very flattering on an older neck! Also the sleeves are very complimentary to the style as the Chiffon gives a hint of skin.
The other blouse that I fell in love with was the Minnie, also in the Wisteria colourway. This blouse is easy to pull on with 3 working buttons, all hand covered, at the front. With a more casual feel to it, this blouse is an easy addition to your wardrobe with a flattering length. The gentle shade of wisteria will work with a palette of other colours and flatters skin tones.
The Maggie is another blouse from this Limited Collection which again would be popular with this who like a round neck. The design is so unique and will certainly make you stand out in a crowd.
The Classic Collection is equally beautifully designed and made with an attention to detail that makes these blouses stand out as special.
The Audrey is crafted from Crepe de Chine with Chiffon sleeves, this shirt exudes elegance through its simplicity. With the trademark long darts of the brand, the fit is both loose and flattering but long enough to wear tucked in or left out. It is also available in Ink Navy.
Victoria Jane McKenna is a very exclusive brand and totally unique. We would call the blouses investment pieces as they are going to be items that you continually turn to when you have a special occasion. I can vouch for the fact that they are transforming. When you slip into one of these blouses you will feel distinctive and extra special.
