We are currently seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team.

Job Description

As a Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation and serving of meals and beverages.
  • Ensuring the dining areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming.
  • Following dietary requirements and preferences of residents.
  • Assisting with the setup and clearing of dining areas.
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety.
  • Supporting the catering team with various kitchen tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a catering or kitchen assistant role is preferred.
  • Health & safety procedures including control of substances harmful to health (COSHH)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Compassionate and patient with a genuine interest in working with the elderly.

Elizabeth Court in Caterham is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 59 residents.
