Catering Assistant

24 hours per week
At Elizabeth Court in Caterham, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. Our team is passionate about creating a warm and welcoming environment where everyone feels at home. We are currently seeking a friendly and reliable Catering Assistant to join our team and help us deliver high-quality meals to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and beverages to residents.
- Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist with menu planning and accommodate special dietary requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure residents' nutritional needs are met.
- Maintain accurate records of food temperatures and storage.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a catering or kitchen assistant role is preferred
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine interest in working with elderly residents

Elizabeth Court in Caterham is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 59 residents.
