Job title:Business Data Integrity Team Engineer

What you'll be doing:
- This role will require you to maintain the Engineering Support System (ESS) business data integrity of the Typhoon fleet
- You will be investigating and rectifying business data discrepancy and availability issues as determined through the submission of Data Change Requests (DCR) and in accordance with procedures within extant Work Instructions
- Service Enquiry (SE) resolution - providing draft responses to Letter of Airworthiness Authority Holders for SEs that are raised by Typhoon users, regarding lifting queries or duplicate Engineering Record Card requests
- It will be required for you to liaise with all required agencies, including Supply Chain, Ground Support System, Forward and Depth Docs Controllers, Decider Team, Reference Data Team
- You will have the ability to recognise when a Business Data Integrity Team DCR needs to be raised and ability to create on Resolve
- Ensure you recognise when an SE requires to be raised and ability to create on Resolve
- Have the ability to understand when, and have the correct authorisations, to re-categorise assets
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- In depth knowledge of Engineering Support System
- Knowledge and previous experience of working with Typhoon aircraft
- Awareness of the Regulatory Framework and relationship between the Pt M and Pt145 environments
- Knowledge and previous experience working within data management
Desirable:
- Awareness of deployed Engineering Support Systems operations
- Knowledge of the end-to-end process for serviceable and unserviceable assets and their interfaces

The Business Data Integrity Team:
The Business Data Integrity Team (BDIT) is a compact team that monitors, corrects and influences the data management for the UK Typhoon fleet across the globe. As a BDIT engineer you will have the ability to be a part of capturing, storing and updating aircraft and component information in a professional, fast moving environment.
The role fits into the Continuing Airworthiness Maintenance Organisation and as such will be expected to operate with a high level of precision and reliability.
