What you will be doing

A DTS Engineering Degree apprenticeship involves working collaboratively alongside experienced and world pioneering engineers. It combines spending periods of time at University, where you will acquire an Honours Degree, with time working on real projects, enhancing the skills necessary to develop a long career in the industry.

This scheme which will see you specialising in Cyber Security.

This will see you learning skills and gaining knowledge associated with Cyber Security such as the implementation, maintenance and support of the security controls that protect an organisation's systems and data assets from threats and hazards, and how to ensure that security technologies and practices are operating in accordance with the organisation's policies and standards to provide continued protection.

Following completion of the formal DTS Apprenticeship, this scheme also has a final 5th year of supplementary modules such that candidates are ready to apply for Professional Registration at Incorporated Engineering (IEng) level.

Through this combination of academic study and real work experience, you will become a valued member of the data analysis engineering team.

Please note you must not book any annual leave within the first 3 months of your apprenticeship. Following this, leave will be considered depending on the individual training delivery schedule and must be approved by your line manager.

What Qualification will you get?

By the end of the apprenticeship you will obtain:

- BSc (Hons) in Digital & Technology Solutions.

What University will I go to?

Cranfield University Milton Keynes 3- 4 times per year with travel paid for and virtual lessons weekly at your normal place of work.

Qualification requirements

5 GCSEs A*-C or 9-4 (or equivalent) including Mathematics, English and Science.

96 UCAS Tariff Points (240 points old tariff) (or equivalent), including two STEM based subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
