Job Title: Energy & Environment Engineer

Salary: £47,683.00 +

What you'll be doing:

  • Assist in monitoring and analysing energy consumption data and conducting energy audits and assessments
  • Support the implementation of energy-saving projects and applying energy efficiency best practices in a manufacturing environment
  • Help maintain energy management systems and support employee engagement programmes
  • Contribute to sustainability reports and the Net Zero strategy
  • Support the management of environmental permits
  • Develop ecology assessments and support biodiversity improvement initiatives

Your skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field
  • Experience in energy, environmental management, or sustainability
  • Basic understanding of energy systems and sustainability concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and data analysis tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of sustainable manufacturing

Facilities Engineering and Sustainability Team:

As a part of Energy & Environmental Engineer team you will support our energy management team in implementing sustainable practices and reducing our carbon footprint. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in industrial energy efficiency and environmental management and contribute to our sustainability goals.
