Job title: Engineering Change Lead - 12-month maternity cover

Salary: Circa £50,000 commensurate on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Deliver change management to drive adoption of new processes, tools, and technologies on Underwater Weapons (UWW) projects
  • Manage key relationships within Maritime Services teams to identify opportunities for collaboration
  • Identify, enable, and exploit digital technologies to both enhance extant products and aid in the development of new products for either internal or external markets
  • Act as a UWW Change Champion for digital transformation, within BAE Systems and relevant external bodies
  • Lead others on a project basis, ensuring day to day management of performance and delivery for assigned projects

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Degree level qualification (or equivalent level of experience) in relevant STEM subject or Project Management
  • Experience in an Engineering or Project Management environment
  • People Management Experience
  • Interest in change, continuous improvement, capability enhancements
  • Ideally able to apply systems thinking to solve complex problems

The Systems Maritime Services Team:

From our headquarters in Portsmouth, we are proud to support the Royal Navy in global operations. BAE Systems Maritime Services delivers end-to-end support to over 50 per cent of the Royal Navy's surface fleet. Our services include ship upgrades, repairs, dockyard facilities management and provision of combat systems training. We also develop and support the Royal Navy's complex equipment, such as radar, torpedoes and small boats.
