BAE Systems do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected on our Graduate programme you will be required to attend your site, 5 days per week. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business.

What you will be doing

As a Graduate you will join our SHE High Hazard team, support the SHE Advisors in providing advice to the business on high hazard SHE compliance to ensure SHE legal requirements and an interdependent safety culture can be achieved.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Getting involved in every aspect of SHE, in particular the facilitation and delivery of high hazard, explosive safety and COMAH activities

- Monitor SHE performance and the implementation of SHE policies in respect of high hazard, process safety and COMAH, and participate as directed in the associated SHE Assurance processes.

- Undertake accident/incident investigation as required

- Provide guidance to managers, staff and SHE professionals in respect of high hazard, process safety and COMAH.

- Provision of SHE competencies in specialist areas such as Explosives, COMAH, high hazard and auditing.

Skills

As a minimum requirement you'll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Health & Safety / Process Safety.

On commencement of employment you will be paid a one-off non-consolidated lump sum payment of £2,000 (the "Welcome Payment"). The Welcome Payment is subject to the normal deductions and will be paid with your first salary payment.
