Job Description

About The Role
This a fast-paced role and no 2 days will look the same! You'll be looking after the delivery of the day-to-day trading needs of our Butlin's websites - which include our Family breaks and Butlin's Big Weekenders, as well as Caravan sales and Conferences & Events - with a key focus being on landing pages.
You will need to work in a collaborative way with the wider team - ensuring we're delivering maximum revenue and conversion through rapid and proactive site merchandising.
You will have day-to-day communication with the wider Brand Marketing, Acquisition and Revenue Management teams on the creation and management of merchandising content for conversion purposes.
A 'typical' day:
- Responding to enquiries from wider members of the Butlin's team - including marketing and resort teams, and updating web content as required

- Carrying out trading actions to support commercial focus areas

- Analysing site merchandising and making changes based on user behaviour

- Shopping the websites to find areas to improve content to enhance user experience/increase conversion

About You

We're looking for a self-starter who shows a passion for learning and likes to solve problems. You may be looking to take the next step in your career in digital merchandising and want to get stuck in to join our Commercial and Marketing team.

You will be making changes to our live websites, so strong attention to detail is key, as is the ability to make decisions based on analytics and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. You should also have excellent communication skills as you'll be working with a wide number of colleagues.
You'll be focusing on the landing pages of our websites, so being commercially strong, innovative, fast-thinking, and proactive is essential. You should also have a creative eye as you'll be identifying opportunities to bring our products to life visually across our sites and apps.

This is a fast-paced role, so you should have the ability to prioritise workload and drive change at pace, whilst being able to meet set deadlines. You should also have a good all-round understanding of best practice developed through previous experience and data analysis in a merchandising role, as well as having the ability to translate numbers into actionable insight to inform day-to-day site merchandising.
